Don Nemitz (born Donald Joseph Nemitz on January 2, 1943) is an American composer and orchestrater who helped with the songs in Thomas and the Magic Railroad, along with Hummie Mann, Don Black and Sue Ennis.

He has worked on over 50 films including: "Ferris Bueller's Day Off", "Planes, Trains and Automobiles", "Uncle Buck", "The Rescuers Down Under", "Honey, I Blew Up the Kid", "Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey", "Tombstone", "White Fang 2: Myth of White Wolf", "Little Giants", "Liar Liar", "Paulie", "Inspector Gadget", "The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland", "My Dog Skip", "The Emperor's New Grove", "Spy Kids", "Cats and Dogs", "The Princess Diaries", "Snow Dogs", "Bruce Almighty", "ELF", "Chicken Little", "Brother Bear 2", "Everyone's Hero" and "Cinderella III: A Twist in Time".
