The Fireball Express was a train owned and run by The Indian Valley Railroad and would sometimes make stops at Shining Time Station.
It was based on the Sierra Railroad 3, a movie star locomotive (Based at Railtown 1897 State historical park in Jamestown, CA) that is known for being The Hooterville Cannonball in the 1963 CBS live action program Petticoot Junction & most famously, Central pacific #131 in the 1990 Universal live action film Back to the future part 3. One of it's whistles was used for Pere Marquette #1225 in the 2004 Animated christmas film The Polar Express another film that director Robert Zemeckis & composer Alan Silverstri worked on.
