Plot

Late one night, Mr. Conductor can't fall asleep and decides to write letters to his friends. He first writes a letter to Becky and asks her how she's doing at summer camp. Then, Mr. Conductor wonders how his letter should be mailed, and he decides via the post train. Next, he writes a letter to Kit Twofeathers regarding his fishing trip with his uncle saying that he should put the fish back after catching them, considering that he has a few friends that are fish. After a while, Mr. Conductor still feels wide awake and wishes he could get some sleep. However, he states that since he's all alone and doesn't see anyone else yawning, he continues to write more letters, but this time to Kara in regards to her visit to her grandparents. After writing to Kara, he decides to write a letter to his sister. Finally, after writing all those letters, Mr. Conductor blows out the candle and goes to sleep as he listens to a lullaby.
